Yahoo! Settles a Deal With Carl Icahn

An agreement is made today between Yahoo! and Carl Icahn as shareholder. Under the new agreement, the eight board members will stand for re-election at the annual meeting. They are: Roy Bostock, Ronald Burkle, Eric Hippeau, Vyomesh Joshi, Arthur Kern, Mary Agnes Wilderotter, Gary Wilson and Jerry Yang. Except for Robert Kotick who will step down.

The  board then will be expanded to become 11 members. Carl Icahn will take one seat and the rest two seats will be nominated by vote.
